PEDAGOGICAL SKILLS OF A MUSIC TEACHER IN THE CONTEXT OF NEW UKRAINIAN SCHOOL REQUIREMENTS

Abstract

In the article the author tries to analyze the role of pedagogical skills of a music teacher in the process of work according to the requirements of the modern new Ukrainian school. After all, today the state has high hopes for those who work with children, instructing them to lay the foundation of their future – to teach, educate, comprehensively develop, shape the personality – human, creator, master of his destiny, patriot and citizen. Particular relevance is noted on the issue of improving the methodological competence of music teachers, which aims primarily to improve the level of pedagogical skills. A well-thought-out system of in-school methodological work, which performs a number of important functions, will contribute to the improvement of the methodological competence of music teachers in general secondary education institutions. Improving the professional growth of music teachers is achieved through continuous and systematic improvement of their professional level. Emphasis is placed on tasks that can be performed only by a highly qualified, creative teacher, a professional in his field. Attention is paid to the issue of mastery, as it has its own semantic expression and functional purpose in any field of education. However, in each field of activity, the skill has its own specific features, although by the purpose and end result there are no differences in the interpretation of this concept: skill is always associated with improving the efficiency of the activity, which is its characteristic feature. That is, a sign of unforeseen subjective and unique pedagogical actions, which cannot be described in their entirety, because only some bright flashes of success can be observed. It is proved that the development of pedagogical skills of art teachers acts as a specially organized process of education and self-education of art disciplines teachers with a focus on the development of emotional and sensory spheres of personality; disclosure of creative potential; formation of a value-oriented basis of life and self-determination of the position of an intellectual teacher.
