MODERN PARADIGMS OF EDUCATION IN THE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF A TEACHER

Abstract

The review article is devoted to the study of current approaches to teachers training. It is proved that education is a complex and multifaceted process that is subject to constant changes and transformations. The article identifies the main paradigms of education, in particular academic, humanistic, cultural and value-based, professional and technocratic, and it substantiates their impact on the process of professional development of teachers. It is determined that each educational paradigm has its own values, principles, tasks, and reveals various aspects of learning and development of educational subjects. The historical development of educational paradigms shows a gradual change in values, approaches and goals in the field of education. The article reflects the key competences in accordance with these paradigms, which are necessary for the successful professional development of a teacher, and emphasizes the importance of values and principles that underlie modern pedagogical practice. It is accentuated that the professional development of a teacher is a dynamic phenomenon in the time vector of the educational paradigm. Understanding the process of forming pedagogical competences and skills helps to improve the training of future teachers and ensure quality education for future generations. The study reflects the challenges faced by modern educators in the context of rapid technological progress and innovative approaches to teaching. It is proved that the technological revolution, the growing role of information technology and changes in society can lead to changes in the popularity and number of teachers of certain subjects. It is noted that professional training of teachers requires attention from legislation and educational institutions.
