DEVELOPMENT OF PEDAGOGICAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS OF HIGHER EDUCATION LECTURER IN THE SYSTEM OF MINISTRY OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS OF UKRAINE

Abstract

The article explores the peculiarities of pedagogical communication in a higher educational institution of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, which facilitates the adaptation of a young lecture to pedagogical activity, discusses the possibility of forming pedagogical communication skills through appropriate training. Attention is drawn to the need to develop a culture of communication and linguistic culture of a university lecturer, to use effective means of forming communication skills. The author analyzes the psychological peculiarities and methods of forming oratorical skills, which are an important component of pedagogical communication.

It is emphasized the importance of developing lecturer’s personal individual style of communication with the cadets and students; it is considered the techniques and stages of its formation. Finding the best way to cultivate his or her individual style of communication with cadets and students is significant task for a young lecture of the university of the MIA system in the early stages of a professional career. Creating personal individual style of communication with students is related to the development of the creative personality of the teacher and is facilitated by certain techniques, such as: involving cadets and students to the research work, their participation in the meetings of the department, conferences, informal contacts, conversations about science, art, future profession, etc.

The author believes that the lecturer’s pedagogical impact on cadets or students through pedagogical communication must be systematic and continuous, from educational-oriented to research-oriented, from formally-regulated to informally-trusted communication. It is stressed that the system of pedagogical communication in universities is based on the relations between the teacher and the student and a partnership in joint activity that gives these relationships a special emotional performance.
